@deconstructor no way the pic is as old as late 2013....the Jordanian F-5 were already in LAB by this time 

the pic is a Joint air exercise with a middle eastern client KDF boys flew F-5s

Mi-24 have a poor lift cap. esp. when fully loaded. Hinds  taxi and run on the runway  as normal aircrafts would in order to get the momentum.
